How we number versions

  • MAJOR (1.x.x → 2.0.0): larger, potentially breaking changes.
  • MINOR (1.0.x → 1.1.0): new features, backward compatible.
  • PATCH (1.0.0 → 1.0.1): bug fixes and minor improvements.

Within each version, entries are grouped into Added, Improved, Fixed, Security and Breaking Changes. Security-relevant fixes are flagged explicitly.
